Saturday evening, Israeli soldiers supported by dozens of armored jeeps invaded Sielet Al Thaher village, west of the West Bank city of Jenin, surrounded several neighborhoods  and arrested two members of the Islamic Jihad.  One member was seriously injured during a gun battle which erupted after the invasion,  another member was arrested.

 A local source in Jenin reported that soldiers clashed with fighters and residents in several areas of the village.

The fighters exchanged fire with the army while dozens of youth hurled stones, empty bottles and Molotov cocktails at the invading forces.

Also, troops invaded  Al Zababda village, near Jenin, and clashed with dozens of youth who hurled stones at them.

Soldiers broke into dozens of houses and searched them, damage was reported.

in a separate incident, soldiers invaded the nearby Arraba town and broke into a Cafe in the center of the town; dozens of youth were interrogated for several hours.
