An Israeli army source claimed uncovering an explosive lab that belongs to the Islamic Jihad while operating in Borqeen village, near the West Bank city of Jenin early Thursday.
The source stated that soldiers found the lab along with four explosive devices and 30 kilograms of explosive materials.
The explosives were blown up in a controlled detonation, the source added.
Israeli security sources announced “high alert” over the Jewish passover holiday after claiming that the intelligence services received 70 warnings of attacks against Israeli targets.
A complete closure was imposed on the Palestinian territories in spite the fact that the Palestinian areas are already surrounded and isolated.
Earlier on Wednesday, Israeli soldiers arrested twelve residents in the West Bank city of Nablus after invading it. Resistance fighters also exchanged fire with the invading forces.
