The Israeli army closed Beit Iba checkpoint east of the West Bank city of Nablus, for more than three hours, Saturday morning.

Soldiers stationed at Beit Iba refused the scores of workers and students from the surrounding villages, that need to access Nablus, passage through the checkpoint, eyewitnesses reported.

Also residents from the West Bank city of Jenin were refused passage through this checkpoint, the eyewitnesses added.
