Friday morning, Israeli soldiers stationed at Halhoul checkpoint near the West Bank city of Hebron arrested one resident, after claiming that they uncovered a suspicious object in his car.
Soldiers stopped the car at the checkpoint, searched it and arrested the driver and closed the checkpoint, sappers were seen at the scene, eyewitnesses reported.
The driver was taken to an unknown destination while the checkpoint remained closed until the time of this report.
