On Thursday, Israeli soldiers imposed a strict siege on Arraba town, southwest of Jenin city, and banned residents from entering the town.

Local sources stated that troops posted roadblocks very close to residents’ houses and forced residents under 30 years old to return to town only under strict Israeli military supervision and with guns pointed at them.

Scores of Israeli troops spread out in farmlands near the town’s eastern crossing and chased out Palestinian vehicles trying to enter the town, the sources added.

The sources asserted that Israeli troops escalated humiliation tactics at roadblocks against Palestinians, detaining them for hours under the pretext of inspection.
