Thursday at night, Israeli soldiers invaded Aida refugee camp, north  the West Bank city of Bethlehem, and clashed with dozens of residents there. two youth were mildly injured, local sources reported.

The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported that soldiers invaded the camp through its northern entrance, near the Rachel Tomb and Bilal Bin Rabah mosque.

A local source in the camp reported that dozens of youth hurled stones and empty bottles at the invading forces. The clashes lasted for one hour.  

The invasion was carried out by three armored jeeps and more than fifteen soldiers on foot.  

Apparently, the army invaded the camp in an attempt to conduct military searches of homes and conduct arrests, but soldiers withdrew following after clashing with the youth.
