Israeli forces took six Palestinians to unknown locations from Hebron this morning. The raid began early Sunday in the southern West Bank. Four of those arrested are brothers. The incursion into Hebron City and neighboring villages was widespread, with soldiers invading from the north to the west of the Hebron District perimeters.
According to local citizens living in the vicinity of the Ibrahimi Mosque in the Old City of Hebron, a number of Israeli soldiers occupying a military roadblock imposed in the vicinity of the Haram Al Sharif Mosque detained a Palestinian woman Sunday morning. They thoroughly searched her and then arrested and transported him to an unknown destination, on the pretext of finding her with a knife.
Official sources in the office of the Palestinian Prisoners Society in Hebron reported that four brothers were also arrested at dawn today. This came after the Israeli military broke into their family home in northern Hebron villages. Israeli soldiers took 27 year old Al Quds Open University student, Jamil Mohammed Jabar, to an unknown location. With him are his 25 year old brother, who is an employee of an international relief agency, Anwar Jabar, 23 year old University of Hebron student, Ibrahim Jabar, and 18 year old high school student, Ahmed Jabar.
And according to official sources at the Chamber of Joint Operations, Israeli forces also arrested a Deputy Mayor, 42 year old Yousef Abdullah Aslimih late Saturday night on the northern entrance of Alleh Village.
