Israeli forces shot young Palestinian men in the Wadi Joz neighborhood of East Jerusalem Wednesday.
According to eyewitnesses, the officers came to the house escorted by the police to collect taxes from residents in the District. Upon entering a house, the Israeli forces demanded taxes due in a provocative manner, leading to a verbal altercation. Dozens of neighbors joined in to calm the situation.
The witnesses added that the Israeli officer fired bullets at citizens, which led to the injury of the owner of the house and another man who owns an electrical appliance repair shot. He is hospitalized with injuries in the abdomen. He denied Israeli Radio claims that the young man stabbed the tax man.
