Two Palestinians were killed and another injured in an Israeli air strike Wednesday in the Al Matahin area north of Khan Younis, Palestinian medical sources in Khan Younis reported. 

 Eyewitnesses said an Israeli warplane fired a missile at a group of residents gathering at the Al Matahin Crossing in Khan Younis, killing two and seriously injuring one.

A medical source at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis said the two residents were identified as Tamer Moharib and Mohammad Khamis Al Masry, both residents of Khan Younis.

Dr. Moawiya Hassanen, head of the Emergency Unit at the Palestinian Ministry of Health, said a third resident, Hamza Al Jourani, 20, died of wounds sustained in a missile attack on a vehicle Wednesday near the town of Dir Al Balah in the central Gaza

Tareq Nassar, 19, was killed in the same attack, while Al Jourani was seriously injured and later died.
