TUESDAY 18 JULY — Palestinian resistance fighters shot one home made Qassam shell into the housing compound of Israeli intelligence officers in Ovikim, the Negev town east of the Gaza Strip.
Al Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, adopted the attack and said in a statement issued this morning that the attack was in response to the ongoing Israeli aggression upon the Gaza Strip.
Israeli sources confirmed the attack and said that two home-made shells landed in Netiv Ha’asara, in the western Negev. One of them nearly hit a greenhouse and injured a foreign worker.
