The Israeli army closed the entrances to the West Bank cities of Tulkarem, Nablus, and Jenin Monday morning, putting the three cities under total siege as violence escalates on both sides.

Troops only allowed residents with ANORWA cards or over 60 years of age  to enter the cities. A few ambulances with ill patients were also allowed thru.

Soldiers refused entry to scores of people, forcing residents to use hilly, farm roads to get to their homes in the cities, residents reported.
