Israeli soldiers shelled the West Bank city of Ramallah late Tuesday night and surrounded a residential building in Um Al Sharayet neighborhood in the city.
The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported troops fired several shells at the building after invading the area and imposing curfew barring the residents from leaving their houses.
At least three residents were injured in the attack and were transferred to a local hospital in the city.
WAFA added that soldiers surrounded the building after invading the neighborhood and fired rounds of live ammunition before using loud speakers to demand the residents to leave the building.
Army claimed a "wanted fighter" was hiding in the building, though no arrests were reported.
In a separate incident, one child was wounded by Israeli military fire during clashes that erupted after the army invaded the city.
An Israeli military source reported that soldiers surrounded a number of Palestinian homes and a building that included a television and Radio station.
Soldiers also surrounded a Palestinian intelligence headquarters in the city.
