The Israeli forces took four prisoners during wide scale searches in the West Bank city of Hebron and the nearby village of Yatta, early on Thursday morning.

Several army vehicles stormed the village and city, searching and ransacking residents’ homes, before taking Mousa Makhamra, 33, Khalil Jabareen, 34, Tariq Shaker, 18, and his brother Ra’ed, 16.

According to local residents, troops forced families out of their homes at gunpoint during the searches. Soldiers also damaged family belongings during the operation.

Tariq and Ra’ed were arrested on their way to work in Jerusalem, near the apartheid wall separating the city from Jerusalem, local sources reported
