Fikree Abu Al Hija, 27, from Nor-Shams refugee camp east of the West Bank city of Tulkarem was taken prisoner by the Israeli army on Wednesday.
Eyewitnesses reported that Abu Al Hija was stopped at a military checkpoint near the city when soldiers stopped his car, searched it and took him to an unknown location.
Local sources said that Abu Al Hija works as a police officer in the anti narcotics squad in Tulkarem city.
