Wife of detainee Younis Kawazia, from Sa'ir village, in Hebron, said
that the Red Cross office informed her on Saturday that he husband was
transferred to an Israeli hospital after his health condition has
severely deteriorated in detention.
She added that her husband, a father of ten children, is suffering from Diabetes and a heart disease. He was moved to hospital after the sugar level in his blood had sharply increased as a result of medical neglect and bad conditions the detainees face in Israeli prisons and detention facilities.
She appealed humanitarian organizations to act for the immediate release of her husband since he needs daily medical care and attention.
Kawazia was arrested recently after Israel carried massive arrest campaigns that targeted leaders, activists and supporters of Hamas movement.
