Israeli tanks and bulldozers
withdrew from Khaza'a village, east of Khan
Younis in the Gaza strip , on Sunday, ending a three day invasion of the
area.

 

Palestinian sources reported
today that Israeli tanks and military bulldozers left the village on Sunday, but remained deployed at the border of the village.  The army left behind them massive destruction to the village buildings and homes, sustained during the three-day long invasion.

Also on Sunday, Palestinian
medical sources reported that a Palestinian fighter with the Al Qassam
brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, died from wounds he sustained
two days ago during clashes with the invading army.  His name was not known at the time of this writing.
