A group of Palestinian resistance fighters fired two hommade shells at the Israeli town of Siderot near the Gaza strip.
Al Quds Brigades, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad, have claimed responsibility for the attack and stated in a press release that this operation was in response to the ongoing Israeli army attacks on the Palestinian people in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and the assassination of Yasser Al Banna and Omar Zaqzouq, top resistance leaders killed by the army Wednesday night.
