The Israeli army invaded the villages of Al Obadiyah, Al Shawara, and Taqua, near the West Bank city of Bethlehem, on Friday morning; taking three residents prisoner.

In Obadiyah, East of Bethlehem, troops stormed and ransacked villagers' houses before taking Mohamed Rabai'a, 19, to an unknown location.

Meanwhile in Taqua, south of the Bethlehem, troops attacked residents' houses and took two Palestinian Authority Police Officers; Mohamed Salem, 23, and Khalaf Obaiat, again, to unknown locations, after searching their houses.

In Al Shawara near the city of Bethlehem, troops invaded and searched scores of houses; no arrests were made but it was reported that damage was caused.
