The Israeli army took three residents prisoner from the villages of Sliat Al Harthia and Al Yamon, near the West Bank city of Jenin, during dawn invasions on Saturday.

Troops stormed Sliat Al Harthia village, searching, and largely ransacking, scores of homes, forcing out families at gun point.

The three taken prisoner were known as Ahmad Tahinah, his brother Mahmod and Moner Al Sa'di, eyewitnesses reported; all three were taken to unknown locations.

Meanwhile in Al Yamon village, army jeeps entered and soldiers searched houses, declaring that they were looking for wanted people.
