Israeli soldiers invaded late on Monday at night Qabatia town, south of Jenin in the northern part of the West Bank, broke into dozens of homes and took one resident prisoner.
Local sources reported that soldiers invaded the town through several directions and exchanged fire with resistance fighters.
The sources stated that soldiers arrested one resident identified as Khaled Sami Nazzal, 35, and took him to an unknown destination.
Also, sSoldiers occupied an area and were seen installing electricity generators and water-tanks apparently in preparation to use it as a military post.
The army first invaded Qabatia during evening hours, but pulled out and re-invaded it later on Monday at night.
