The Israeli army invaded the northern West Bank city of Jenin and the nearby Jenin refugee camp and searched a number of houses, on Monday morning.

At least 15 army vehicles stormed the city and the refugee camp, soldiers searched and ransacked a number of houses.  Local residents reported that soldiers were shooting bullets and sound bombs during the invasion, but no injuries were reported.  The military force left the city after several hours, taking no prisoners.
