An Israeli settler driving in the Old City of  Hebron, in the
southern part of the West Bank, rammed a  Palestinian child causing
moderate wounds, Palestinian medical sources reported.

Resident Jihad Jaber reported that his child Mohammad, 5, was hit by an Israeli settler's vehicle while heading to his school in the old part of Hebron city.

Mohammad was moved to the governmental hospital in Hebron for treatment. Medical sources revealed that he is suffering cuts and bruises in his hands and head. His injury was described as moderate.

Several Hebron residents said that settlers continuously attack them and their children, especially in the center of Hebron where dozens of extremist settlers are posted.

In many cases, settlers attack the residents, school children and international observers while the army intensively present in the area, do not attempt to stop them.
