The results of the 2006 index of Jewish-Arab relations in Israel was released to the public on Monday.

Also, the pull revealed that 60% of the Arab residents in Israel fear that Israel would carry a mass expulsion to remove them from the country.

 

1423 Jewish and Arab residents of Israel were pulled on a wide range of issues related to the gap between Arabs and Jews in Israel.

80% of the polled Jews said that Israel must retain a Jewish majority in any future agreement that deals with borders and demography.

 

Also, 64.4% of the polled Jews said that they believe that Arab residents of Israel “pose a security risk due to their high birth rates”.

83.1% said that Arab residents of Israel are a security risk to Israel because they support the Palestinian people.

Meanwhile, the pull showed that 80% of the Arab residents in Israel fear that Israel will carry a mass land annexation that targets them.

78% of them said that they fear violence practiced against them by the Israeli authorities, and 71.5% said that they fear violence from Israeli citizens.
