Dozens of Palestinians and Canadians held a vigil on Wednesday in Montreal – Canada, against the ongoing and unjust Israeli siege and attacks against the Palestinian residents in the Gaza Strip.Sources close to the IMEMC reported that the vigil was held in Downtown area in Montreal, and that it was organized by the Coalition For Justice and Peace in Palestine. The peaceful protesters carried Palestinian flags and posters calling for ending the siege in Gaza.

The sources added a central vigil will be held on Saturday starting from Concordia University,  and that approximately 1000 will participate. The protest will be held in coordination with the Solidarity For Palestine in Human Rights (www.sphr.org) . A press conference will be held after the protest and the IMEMC will publish a detailed report.  

Concordia University became the traditional place to protests in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
