Israeli soldiers imposed on Friday evening a strict siege over Jenin and Tulkarem districts in the northern part of the West Bank and placed sand hills on roads leading the dozens of villages in the two areas.Israeli military sources claimed that the Israeli Security Services received intelligence information regarding potential attacks inside Israel.
Local sources reported that the army also placed concrete barriers on the entrances of dozens of villages in Jenin and Tulkarem districts.
The army also barred dozens of villagers from reaching their lands and searched dozens of vehicles while interrogating the residents for several hours.
