A number of Palestinians from the village of Al Khader, located near the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem, staged a protest midday Friday against the wall the Israel government is constructing on land illegally confiscated from the villager's.

The protest began with Friday prayers at the Israeli checkpoint at Al Nashah, located at the entrance of the village.

Shortly afterwards, the protest began and ended without incident or clashes with the occupying Israeli troops.  If completed, the Israeli wall will illegally annex 20,000 dunams (4 dunams equals one acre) of land owned by the villagers.
