Palestinian medical sources reported that on Monday after midnight, two residents were wounded when the Israeli army fired at least one missile at a group of residents who gathered near the Ministry of Education, east of Sheikh Zayid residential compound, north of Beit Lahia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.The sources stated that the two wounded residents were moved to Kamal Adwan Hospital and described their injuries as serious, the Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported.
Eyewitnesses reported that soldiers fired one surface-to-surface missile at the residents.
Moreover, WAFA said that soldiers invaded an area east of Jabalia town, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
The agency added that dozens of military vehicles and three military bulldozers invaded that area and fired rounds of live ammunition at several homes; damage was reported, no injuries until the time of this report.
Soldiers bulldozed farmlands and constructions while military helicopters hovered over the area and fired flares.
