Two Palestinian civilians were injured and another one kidnapped when the Israeli army attacked a peaceful protest organized by the villagers of Na’alen west of the central West Bank city of Ramallah on Wednesday midday.

The villagers of Na’alen along with international and Israeli protesters marched against the illegal Israeli wall the army is building on the village lands.

The protesters said that the army attacked them with tear gas and rubber-coated-steal bullets, two were injured and Mohamed Amera, a local activist was kidnapped by the army.

Israeli army sources said that the protesters hurled stones at the soldiers first, witnesses said that troops opened fire without a reason, and that the protest was peaceful.
