The weekly protest against construction of the Israeli seperation wall commenced after mid-day prayers, this Friday in the village of Ni’lin.The villagers, joined by International and Israeli supporters, marched to the gate of the seperation wall that stops Palestinians from reaching their own land.
An Israeli undercover agent is said to have infiltrated the demonstration and arrested Mohammed Yassin, a resident of Yabrod village near Ni’lin.
As the proceedings reached the gate of the seperation wall, Soldiers used tear gas and live ammunition to disperse the crowd.
Many people were treated for tear gas inhalation, no other injuries were reported.
The demonstration ended with clashes between soldiers and local youth.
