Nineteen Palestinian civilians were detained by Israeli troops, on Tuesday, during invasions targeting a number of West Bank communities.
Israeli troops invaded the village of Beit Ommar, southern West Bank. Soldiers searched homes in the village then took 6 men away, witnesses reported.
Meanwhile 13 Palestinian civilians were detained by Israeli troops during searches of homes in Jerusalem’s old city on Tuesday morning.
Local sources reported heavy police and army presence in the old city following the detention of the 13 men.
Over the week end, clashes erupted in Jerusalem city after settlers tried to enter al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem city. The clashes left a dozen Palestinians injured.
