The Al Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Hamas movement, reported Friday that one of its members was killed in an explosion in Al Zaytoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City.The fighter was identified as Ahmad Al Hajeen, 18, from Al Zaytoun neighborhood.
The group did not reveal further details on the issue but only said that Al Hajeen “was killed in a Jihadi task”.
Dr. Moawiya Hassanen, head of the Emergency department at the Gaza Strip Ministry of Health, reported that Al Hajeen was wounded in several parts of his body due to the explosion and died instantly.
