Palestinian sources reported that Israeli soldiers carried out, on Tuesday at dawn, a limited invasion into al-Saifa area, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, and clashes with resistance fighters.The sources stated that the army fired hundreds of rounds of live ammunition while military helicopters flew over the area firing flares.
The Mujahidin Brigades and the Salah Ed Deen brigades said that their fighters managed to detonate two explosive charges near the invading forces and exchanged fire with them for 15 minutes.
The two groups said in a joint release that they managed to inflict direct damages in the invading vehicles and added that they are ready to counter any Israeli aggression or violation.
There were no reports of injuries until the time of this report.
