The opening of two crossings shows possible hope of the siege ending.Early Wednesday, Israeli authorities announced the partial opening of two crossings into Gaza to allow aid deliveries.
According to a Palestinian coordinator for the crossings, approximately 158 truckfulls of aid would be allowed through the Kerem Shalom (Karem Abu Salem) in southern Gaza.
Some cooking gas and industrial fuel will also be allowed through the southern crossing.
At the northern Karni crossing, 120 trucks of wheat and animal feed would be allowed to cross.
