Four settlers and two Palestinians were injured following the destruction of a home built during the settlement construction freeze. The Israeli military demolished two structures and a goat pen belonging to settlers in the Givat Ronen colony in the West Bank.

They had been constructed in defiance of the construction freeze imposed on the settlements at the end of last year.

The settlers rioted after the demolition and embarked on ‘price tag’ reprisals on the nearby Palestinian village of Burin.

The settlers attempted to break through the Hawara checkpoint which caused the Palestinians to begin throwing stones at them. Four of the illegal settlers were injured, one seriously so.
