On Tuesday afternoon, an Israeli settler is alleged to have deliberately ran over a young Palestinian man from the town of Tuqu’, southeast of Bethlehem, and fled the scene.Tayseer Abu Mefreh, the director of the Municipality of Tuqa’ reported to Palestine News Agency, WAFA, that Ra’fat Suliman was walking down the main road in the village when a settler in the area of ‘Kherbat al-Dair’ ran him over and fled the scene.
He added that an Israeli ambulance transferred the injured boy to the settlement of Efrat. However, Palestinian citizens called the Red Crescent, which in turn transferred him to the Arab Society For Rehabilitation in Beit Jala, where his injuries were described as mild.
