Israeli soldiers abducted, on Wednesday at dawn, twelve Palestinians, including the assistant secretary-general of the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC), in the occupied West Bank. Mahmoud al-Ramahi, assistant secretary-general of the PLC, was kidnapped after dozens of soldiers surrounded his home in al-Biereh city, near the central West Bank city of Ramallah, and broke into it.
Most of the arrests were carried out in the Ramallah district and in the southern West Bank district of Hebron, Palestinian sources reported.
Furthermore, soldiers kidnapped a resident of Aal-Sawahra town, in occupied East Jerusalem. The resident, Musallam Za’atra, was at work when the army kidnapped him.
