The Wadi Hilweh Information Center has reported, on Monday, that Israeli Military personnel erected a road block across the north eastern entrance to the village of Issawiya for the second time in three days.Issawiya, a village in the greater area of occupied East Jerusalem, has a population of 18,000, who are all Palestinian. Residents fear that the positioning of concrete slabs across the road of the main artery to the village is an attempt to isolate the village from the rest of Jerusalem, Wadi Hilweh reported.
As previously mentioned, the laying of blocks across the road has come twice in three days. This follows a road block set up on November 9, and assaults by the Israeli military on both November 6 and 9.
