The Palestine News and Information Center,WAFA, reported on Thursday that Israeli soldiers demolished a house of that belongs to two brothers identified as Iyad and Mohammad Al-Ummor, in the village of Yatta in the eastern part of the southern West Bank city of Hebron.Abdul Aziz Abu Fannar, The media coordinator of Yatta village council, stated that Israeli police, accompanied by a number of military vehicles and bulldozers, invaded the town and fully demolished the house. It was built without permission, as they claimed.
He added that the brothers have the needed documents for the house, but the army did not pay any attention to them and claimed the decision to demolish the house was by the Israeli court.
The house is 250 square/meters; 25 persons, including women and children, live in it.
There are nearly 30 houses in the same area threatened to be demolished as Israel is exerting pressure on the residents to force them out of their lands and homes in order to expand Karmi’el settlement.
Yatta is surrounded by eleven Jewish settlements all built on lands that were illegally annexed from their Palestinian owners.
