Palestinian sources in the Gaza Strip reported that Israeli soldiers shelled on Thursday evening a number of homes east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. The army fired dozens of rounds of live ammunition and a number of shells targeting homes in Al Fakhari area in Khan Younis causing excessive damage.
Border areas in the Gaza Strip are subject to repeated Israeli shelling stemming from military towers and military posts near the border.
