Ma’an News Agency are reporting, on Tuesday, that the al-Quds Brigade, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad, are preparing ‘new tactics’ to use against the Israeli military.The militant group are stating that they will focus on preventing the Israeli military from entering the Gaza Strip on raids and incursions, and create a no-go zone.
This statement follows a recent intensification of Israeli military activity in the Gaza Strip, with tanks and armed vehicles crossing the border.
Although this action has seen a surge in the past week the Israeli Radio reported, Monday, that the Israeli army intends to carry out specified and targeted attacks against certain areas in the Gaza Strip without conducting a direct confrontation or ground invasions, focusing more on air raids to target the smuggling tunnels between Gaza and Egypt, and weapons storage facilities of resistance groups.
Israeli air raids regularly lead to the injury and death of civilians living inside the Gaza Strip.
