The Iranian Minister of Defense, Ahmed Waheedi, threatened the US and Israel with a tough military response if the latter would strike Iran. The Maan News Agency reported Monday morning. Mr. Waheedi waved his threats of firing 150 thousand missiles towards Israel.
According to the Israeli Hebrew edition Paper, Maariv, Waheedi’s statements came before 50 thousand Iranian soldiers in the city of Bushehr on Sunday evening, warning the US and Israel from attacking Iran. He further pointed out that Iran is not like Iraq or Afghanistan, and in case the States inadvertently struck Iran, it would be surprised by the way of Iran’s military response and fighting.
Furthermore, Minister Waheedi sent a clear message to the Israeli government, saying that “Israel must be punished over its actions against Muslims in Palestine and Lebanon.”
