Real Madrid forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, showed his concern to the Palestinian children in Gaza by donating his sports shoes to the Palestinian kids foundation.According to the Arabic site of Real Madrid’s network, the shoes, which turned out in public auction, were later sold for € 2,400, with the first bidding of €700. The money from the auction will be used to build a children’s school in Gaza.
The auction took place two weeks ago as Ronaldo had a commercial in the US, with Nike for his new boot.
It’s not the first time, the ex-Manchester United striker showed his support for Palestine. When he was still with Manchester United, Ronaldo was photographed wearing the Palestinian muffler, the kufiyyeh, as support for Palestinian cause.
