Palestinian sources reported that a group of armed fundamentalist Israeli settlers broke on Friday into the Solomon Pools site and the Conference Palace Archeological areas in Al Kahder town, south of the West Bank city of Bethlehem. The sources stated that approximately 200 settlers broke into the area, and said that they will never leave because “it is a Jewish land”, according to the settlers.
Dozens of Israeli soldiers are also at the scene allegedly to provide “protection” to the armed settlers.
Armed settlers could also be seen around the area, while some sources stated that they blocked some roads or obstruct Palestinian traffic.
