Head of the Artery of Life Committee, Engineer, Wael Al-Saqqa, stated that Jordanian figures and popular institutions are ongoing with the preparations for the “Ansar 2” convoy to break the Israeli siege on Gaza, and deliver urgently needed humanitarian and medical supplies.In a press release, Al-Saqqa said that the committee is holding talks with the Egyptian Authorities in order to facilitate the travel of the convoy ,and to ensure its passage to Gaza.
He further stated that the convoy will be carrying aid supplies, mainly medical equipment and medications.
The convoy will be leaving Jordan soon; it will be leaving Amman to the Aqaba Jordanian Port before sailing to Gaza via the Nweibe’ Egyptian Port.
Al-Saqqa said that he hopes that the Egyptian Authorities will cooperate will the convoy and ensure its arrival in Gaza.
