Aziz Aasi, mayor of Qarawat Bani Hassan stated, Saturday, that the Israeli army issued a new order to takeover privately-owned Palestinian lands in Khallet Hadida of Sarta town in Salfit district. He added that the 21 Dunums that were included in the illegal order are located near the Rakan Industrial Settlement. He pointed out that the town’s Municipality had received a copy of the decision.
These continuous confiscation decisions in the area are nothing, similar to decisions regarding other West Bank lands aim at expanding Israel’s illegal settlements at the expense of the citizens’ lands.
Settlements and the illegal Israeli Annexation Wall are also isolating Palestinian orchards and farmlands while extremist Israeli settlers are ongoing with their attempt to illegally grab more Palestinian lands to install and expand their illegal outposts.
