Palestinian medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported that three residents were injured in the Az-Zawayda area, in central Gaza, after an explosive device detonated near them.Ashraf Al-Qudra, spokesperson of the Palestinian Ministry of Health In Gaza, reported that one of the wounded residents suffered serious injuries to the face, and was moved to the Ash-Shifa hospital in Gaza.

The remaining two suffered moderate injuries to various parts of their bodies, and were moved to the Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al-Balah.

Dozens of Palestinians were previously killed and wounded in similar accidents after coming in contact with undetonated missiles and bombs fired by the Israeli army during its repeated wars on Gaza.

A number of Palestinian fighters were also killed while preparing explosives.

Also, several Palestinians have been killed by undetonated explosives dropped by the Israeli army during invasions near border areas east of the Gaza Strip.
