[Saturday, May 17, 2014] An elderly Palestinian man from Wadi al-Hariya, in Hebron, has died of a heart attack after Israeli soldiers raided his house, Saturday, according to local sources.‘Abd al-Salam ‘Ata ‘Ubeido, age 69, suffered a heart attack after family members scuffled with Israeli forces who raided his house and handed his 42-year-old son a notice to appear before Israeli intelligence, WAFA reports.
Also on Saturday, a Palestinian was attacked and injured in his right eye by a pack of boars deliberately released by Israeli settlers near Salfit, while on the way back to his house to the south of the city, according to the victim’s father, Nader al-Qarawni Bani Nimra.
Releasing boars on agricultural lands is a frequent tactic employed by Israeli settlers to harass and disenfranchise Palestinian famers in different parts of the West Bank.
