From their parts Palestinian resistance groups in Gaza claimed responsibility for firing dozens of shells into adjacent Israeli areas in retaliation to the Israeli military escalation.
Elsewhere, Israeli soldiers invaded, on Monday at dawn, several Palestinians communities in the occupied West Bank, clashing with local youth causing dozens of injuries, while several Palestinians have been kidnapped.
Medical sources in the southern West Bank city of Hebron, have reported that at least 20 Palestinians have been shot with rubber-coated metal bullets in the al-’Arroub refugee camp. Moreover, The Israeli police kidnapped overnight on Monday110 Palestinians; around half of them are children, during protests that swept across Arab towns in Israel. Massive protests were held in different parts of the country, while protesters also closed various roads, including Tamra-Akka Road and clashed with Israeli police officers who assaulted them.
The police continued to resort to the excessive use of force in an attempt to end the protests. People are protesting the kidnapping and brutal murder of Mohammad Abu Kdeir in Jerusalem last week.
