Israeli continue to attack Gaza for the 16th day, at least 695 Palestinians killed, meanwhile in the West Bank Israeli troops attack protesters killing two. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.

At least 62 Palestinian civilians, including children, were killed on Wednesday as the Israeli offensive targeting Gaza rages on. The Israeli army continued its bombardment of Palestinian communities in different part of the Gaza Strip, targeting homes and civilian structures.

Moreover an UNRWA school that has been sheltering Palestinian refugees in central Gaza came under Israeli fire, as previously feared by relief workers, while an inspection team was working on repairing damage from the previous day.

Death toll in Gaza have now reached 695 with 4250 injured civilians since Tuesday July 8th, when Israeli started its attack. Among the 4250 injured civilians there are at least 161 are children and 69 are women, according to the Palestinian Center for Human Rights.

I related news, following the killing of several journalists, airstrikes on media headquarters and targeting of Al Jazeera offices, the Palestinian Journalist Union issued a statement condemning what they say is the deliberate targeting of journalists by Israeli forces.

At the political level, Chief Hamas Head political bureau, Khalid Mashaal, announced on Wednesday that the movement will cooperate to reach a humanitarian calm. He added that no ceasefire deal have been reach or close to happen. Mashaal added that his movement will drop armed struggle once Israel disarm its military and end it occupation of Palestinian land.

In the West Bank, two Palestinian civilians were killed on Wednesday after being wounded by Israeli gunfire during clashes with Israeli troops in Husam village near the Bethlehem city.

Mahmoud Saleh Hamamra, 34, was shot by a live round to the chest, and died under surgery at a hospital in the southern West Bank city of Hebron. He was transferred from the Beit Jala Hospital in Bethlehem, due to the seriousness of his condition, but died of his very serious injury.

Later in the day Mohamed Qassim Hamamra, 19, died of wounds he sustained during the clashes with invading troops in Hussam village.

Israeli troops clashes with youth in a number of West Bank communities daily since the war on Gaza started two week ago. Night clashes are reported in Ramallah, Bethlehem, and Hebron. Israeli soldiers attack the pro Gaza protests with tear gas, live rounds and rubber-coated steel bullets.
