Palestinian medical sources in the Gaza Strip has reported that at last fifteen Palestinians have been killed by Israeli missiles and shells late Thursday night, July 24th, while dozens of Palestinians have been injured.Update – In the early hours of Friday morning, medical sources said a pregnant woman, identified as Shaima’ Hussein Abdul-Qader Qanan, 23, died of her wounds at the al-Aqsa Hospital in Gaza, but the baby she was carrying was able to be rescued. Initially it was reported that her unborn child had died, but doctors report that they were able to rescue the child even as the mother died.


On Thursday night before midnight, the following casualties were reported:

The army fired a missiles into a home in Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza, wounding seven Palestinians, while one of the wounded suffered a serious injury.

The Ministry of Health said that Mahmoud Suleiman al-Astal, 17, and Laila Ibrahim Zo’rob, 40, died of their wounds at the Gaza European hospital.

In addition, resident Mahmoud As’ad Ghaban, 24, from Beit Lahia, died of his serious injuries at the Shifa Medical Center in Gaza, while resident Ibrahim Jihad Abu Laban, 27, died after the army fired more missiles into the Zeitoun neighborhood, in Gaza.

A child from Gaza, identified as Ibrahim Sheikh Omar, 36 months, died at the Intensive Care Unit of the Mohammad ad-Dorra hospital, while thirteen Palestinians were injured and hospitalized, after the army fired missiles close to the hospital.

Another child, identified as Mahmoud Jihad Awad Abdin, 12, was killed when the army fired missiles into homes in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

Soldiers also fired missiles into homes in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, killing several Palestinian, and wounding many others.

The Ministry of Health said the slain Palestinians have been identified as Mohammad Abdullah Najjar, Ahmad Talal Najjar, Ashraf Ibrahim Hasan Najjar, 13.

Also in Khan Younis, Israeli missiles killed residents Sana’ Hasan Ali al-Astal, Nabil Mahmoud Mohammad al-Astal, 12, and Ashraf Mahmoud Mohammad al-Astal.

The Ministry of Health stated Israel committed 48 massacres against entire families in the Gaza Strip, killing 249 family members, including infants, children, women and elderly.

It said 803 Palestinians, including entire families, have been killed by Israeli missiles and shells, since July 8, and more than 5200 Palestinians, including infants, children, women and elderly, have been injured.
